About Me

Hello! I’m Emily and I have been running my web design business for over 20 years. I feel like I need to start with that, it establishes that I’ve been doing this for a while.

What I’ve come to realise over the last few years is that, as well as still being in love with building websites, I also really enjoy using my experience to help others. If I can draw on my own experiences to make somebody else’s life a little easier then that makes me very happy.

I would like to help you if you are running your own own web design business, whether you’re just starting out or are a bit more experienced like me. And you know what, I am confident that I will learn a thing or two myself in the process. It’s a win-win!

What you’ll find out if you follow me for a bit is that my particular “thing” is running a local business. By this I mean that you are predominantly offering web design services to other businesses and organisations in your own local area. You could be dabbling in the world of online business as well, but you like to be seen as the local web designer. I will be coming back to this idea frequently, so stay tuned!

What else do you need to know about me? Oh I’m a total geek (yes that is a Captain Marvel t-shirt I’m wearing there). I’ve got a thing about Wonder Woman, have recently rediscovered my love of Masters of the Universe (too geeky?), and I love a bit of post-apocalytic fiction.
