Hello, I’m Emily. I’ve been building websites since 2000, first as a hobby and professionally as Webfooted Designs since 2004. And, you know what, I’ve come to realise that I’ve built up quite a bit of experience in that time.
I’ve been doing a bit of soul searching recently, and have realised that what I really love is helping other small businesses make the most of their websites. I really enjoy building websites for my Webfooted clients, but not everyone has the budget or inclination to get a web designer to take care of the build for them. There must be a way to help the do-it-yourselfers, mustn’t there?
Maybe you want to have a go at building your site yourself (yes, I’m a control freak too) or you simply can’t afford a spangly website, particularly if you’re starting up and you’re trying to make the most of a limited budget. But you might still appreciate a bit of a helping hand.
So, I’m venturing into the realms of website consultancy. To be honest I’m not a hundred percent on the term ‘consultant’, it sounds a bit too big for its own boots doesn’t it? What I really mean is that I’ll be offering advice, hands-on help, or training – basically as little or as much as you need.
